Leo is passionate about doing small groups as the primary means of making a journey with people toward knowing and becoming more like Jesus. He is in charge of congregational care that includes counseling, giving retreats  and spiritual direction.  Leo's education includes a Master of Biblical Counseling degree and doctor of ministry in Spiritual Direction.

Ed Matias
Pastor In Charge of the 8am Service

Ed is one of the original leaders of Word Community. He always works behind the scenes as one of one our elders and in coordinating ministries. Ed loves to serve for the purpose of making Christ known. In 2009, Ed made a crucial decision to serve in the church full-time from his work as a professional service manager SmithKlineBeecham, now GlaxoSmithkline for 30 years. Ed finished a degree of BSChE at the University of Sto. Tomas

Dave Darwin 
Associate Pastor

Dave is our ‘theological’ pastor teacher. He teaches and leads at the International Graduate School for Leadership.   Dave finished his Master of Divinity from the International School of Theology and Doctor of ministry at Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia USA.

Woolim Ma 
Youth Director

Woolim, who was born in Korea, raised in the Philippines and educated in the States, can relate to many cultures but does not completely belong to one. He believes that the gospel of Jesus must be communicated creatively and is best spread through fascination, not force. He is married to Shiloah. They are both dog lovers.
