Starting Point

Small Groups

We believe that sustained life change happens best within the context of small group relationships. It is desired that everyone who attends Word Community Church becomes a part of a small group. A small group is the place where people share real issues and challenges of life.  Group members come to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to become followers of Jesus Christ.  Small groups are formed for married couples, young professionals, youth, as well as women and men’s.

We offer two kinds of group experiences: Starting Point and Life Group.

 
 

Starting Point

A Starting Point is a conversation environment for those who are investigating Christianity, those who are new to a relationship with Jesus and those who have some church experience but have been away for a while. It consists of 8-10 people who will meet for 10 weeks to explore the grand story of God.

Life Group

Life Groups consist approximately of six married couples, or eight individuals of the same group that meet weekly, for 12 to 24 months to connect relationally and grow spiritually. They are for adults and for all stages of life regardless of their spiritual maturity.
